Allevity Entertainment Coming to Aberdeen
“Play. Eat. Repeat! at Allevity Entertainment”
New business will offer entertainment opportunities for Aberdeen residents and visitors.
Aberdeen area residents and visitors will soon have a new place to play and eat. The new business, called Allevity Entertainment, recently announced plans to open a family entertainment center in Aberdeen, SD.
Allevity will offer a unique and exciting place to get together with friends and family. According to co-owner David Novstrup, the business will feature a variety of entertainment attractions and food options.
Allevity Entertainment will be co-owned by David and Holly Novstrup and Al and Kathy Novstrup. The Novstrup families are also co-owners of Wylie Thunder Road. Located in Wylie Park, Thunder Road features go-karts, mini golf, and other attractions. David says “We have heard the demand for “more”-- more to do year-round. There is a need in Aberdeen for a place to get together to play, eat, and socialize all year long. We are ecstatic to bring this type of venue to our community.”
With the motto “Play. Eat. Repeat!” Allevity will offer entertainment to all ages and groups- something for everyone. Featuring private party rooms and a dining area, Allevity will be a great place to have birthday parties, bring church groups, and will also provide another option for companies to hold events for their teams.
Plans are to start construction in the spring of 2019 and open in late 2019. According to David, the idea has been “just an idea” for quite some time but the more David and his family researched it, the more reasons they found to do it. “This is about improving the quality of life for the people of this area. It is an investment into the community, and bettering our community is something I have always been passionate about.” David stated.
Co-owner Al Novstrup is eager to see the project come to fruition. “We’re working to make sure this will be a top-notch facility and will provide a safe and friendly atmosphere for our guests. It’s something we’re very excited about because we think this is something the community will really love.” The Novstrups also want to thank the Aberdeen Development Corporation and Mike Bockorny for their encouragement.
